Gaoling is a large town and province in the southern Earth Kingdom. Ruled for centuries by the House of Beifong, Gaoling has been one of the most famed cities in the Earth Kingdom, balancing tradition and industry. Similarly, it is at a geographic crossroads, with connections to many other major locations in the southern Earth Kingdom. Situated on the north bank of the Zhenzhu River, Gaoling borders Zeizhou to the south, Izaki (Zaofu) and the Foggy Swamp to the west, and Omashu and the Si Wong desert to the north.
