Angelina Velkhana was the 63rd, 65th, and 75th Earth Queen of the Earth Kingdom, ruling through multiple interrupted reigns during periods of war, political collapse, and rebellion, until her execution in 165 AG at the Beifong Estate in Gaoling on the order of Earth King Xaoten Izaki, with the execution carried out under the supervision of Songwen Beifong.

She first came to power following the abdication of Earth King Kiros during the Sun Warrior war led by Mālvās M’kari Raa. Her early reign was defined by extreme wartime pressure and immediate negotiations with invading forces, which led to the signing of the Fire and Blood Accords under coercive conditions. This agreement resulted in major territorial concessions, including the loss of Zeizhou, and formally ended the conflict at that stage.

Her rule did not remain stable after the treaty. She was later removed from power, succeeded by Queen Sasha DeCassian, and then returned to the throne after further political collapse under Liebe Lee. Her second and later reigns were heavily influenced by imposed conditions tied to earlier wartime settlements and ongoing external pressure.

During her final reign, she faced a large-scale rebellion led by Xaoten Izaki, supported at different stages by figures such as Lin Gui and Queen Bo of Omashu. Lin Gui briefly seized control during a palace coup and declared herself Earth Queen before stepping down following confrontation with Xaoten Izaki, who then took control as Earth King.

Angelina Velkhana was ultimately executed after being deposed for the final time. She was known for her authoritarian style of rule and was later revealed to be a day bloodbender, a rare and illegal form of waterbending.
