The United Fire Nation was formed to unify the nations of the anarchic United Republic, Kaiyo, and the Fire Nation as a result of the World War in 121 AG. The nation was led by Ichida Yuka, the 4th Fire Lord of the Fire Nation, who later became the United Fire Lord. In the same year, he married Fire Queen Amiko Yuka. He also returned the Si Wong Desert region, including Omashu, to the Earth Kingdom.
In 122 AG, he announced that he and his wife, Fire Queen Amiko would become co-rulers of the United Fire Nation. In the same year, he gave Earth Monarch Amomi an ultimatum: give them (United Fire Nation) Omashu or they will take it by force, intending to revitalize the forlorn city. After global backlash, Ichida retracts his ultimatum.
In 123 AG, the United Fire Lord Ichida announced his intention to dissolve the unification of the United Fire Nation with the signing of the Garda Treaty and granted independence back to the United Republic.
