Apoy is the volcanic prison island of the Sun Warriors located West of Bianqui. It is currently led by a Warden, which is appointed by the Sun Council.
Previously, before this island was transformed into a prison, it was under the control of the Western Air Temple before it was acquired during the reign of Azutoru Dainagon.
