Akira Fudo was the Captain of the Fifth Nation, the former concubine of Earth Queen Destra, and former Editor-in-Chief of the Dragonhawk Daily Newspaper of the United Republic, until their death in 137 AG. Akira Fudo later revived the Fifth Nation, a historic pirate nation, with support from the Sun Empire, who gifted them Seilkuq. This led to the start of the Dragonhawk War with the Earth Kingdom.

Akira Fudo was later willingly taken by Prince Meztli Dainagon of the Sun Empire in an attempt to escape the Earth Kingdom. This act led Earth Queen Destra to threaten war against the Sun Empire, but the situation was later resolved after Meztli was captured and died in the Crystal Catacombs.

During the Dragonhawk War, Akira Fudo was captured and surrendered to the Earth Kingdom. They later died in the Crystal Catacombs.
