Dragonhawk War was a global conflict fought in 137 AG over the island of Seilkuq and the re-establishment of the Fifth Nation by Akira Fudo.

The conflict began after the Sun Empire gifted Seilkuq to Akira Fudo, who used the island to formally re-found the Fifth Nation and proclaimed herself Captain. The Earth Kingdom responded by declaring war, citing the crimes of the previous Fifth Nation, which it accused of enslaving and murdering Earth Kingdom citizens.

The Earth Kingdom was joined by the Fire Nation, the Air Nation, and the Foggy Swamp Tribe, while the Fifth Nation was supported by the Sun Empire and the Water Tribe. The Water Tribe’s intervention effectively ended its non-aggression pact with the Earth Kingdom.

During the Battle of Seilkuq, Akira fell from her dragon Sixith, which had originally been gifted to her by Sun Empress Alinova Dainagon. The dragon was later taken by Earth Queen Destra Beifong.

As the war turned against the Fifth Nation, Akira surrendered both herself and Seilkuq to the Earth Kingdom. She was later killed in the Crystal Catacombs after reportedly attempting to escape captivity. Following the war, the Earth Kingdom declared Seilkuq a nationless haven under Earth Kingdom protection, formally ending the conflict.
