The Fire Nation is one of the world's four nations and five sovereign states. It is an absolute monarchy led by the Fire Lord and home to most firebenders. Geographically, the nation is located along the planet's equator in the western hemisphere and is composed of several islands, named the Fire Islands.
Since the Hundred Year War, the Fire Nation has been ruled by various monarchs from several different dynasties, the most notable including the Hou-Tings, the Beifongs, the Gladiuses, the Guis, and Earth King Xaoten Izaki. The Earth Kingdom is known for its militaristic power, high discipline, aggressive tactics, and immense power. [UPDATE NEEDED]
History
Harmony Restoration Movement and early instability (c. 100–118 AG)
The Fire Nation entered the post-war era under pressure to withdraw from its former colonies in the Earth Kingdom. The Harmony Restoration Movement forced the Fire Nation to dismantle its long-standing colonial presence. This weakened its direct influence abroad but reduced the risk of renewed global conflict. Internally, the state began shifting from imperial expansion to consolidation and recovery.
