House Hu (胡; Hu) is a noble house of the Fire Nation. The house was formerly part of the Fire Nation's royal family, with Taiyomizu Hu serving as the 23rd Fire Lord from 176 AG to 180 AG. The family's connection to the Fire Nation's royal line Yuka began with Inaba Hu, who married into the Yuka family. Later, the House became part of the royal line through Inaba Hu, creating the Hu family as the ruling dynasty of the Fire Nation before eventually transitioning from royalty to nobility again through the abdication of Taiyomiz Hu.
As of 179 AG, 4 Fire Lords have belonged to House Hu, including the Yuka-Hu rulers.
