The Shuhonese, also known as Shuhonese-Nozawans or Middle Calderans, are a Calderan ethnic group indigenous to the middle islands of the Fire Nation, including Shuhon, Nozawa, and Kayamoto. Culturally distinct from other peoples in the Fire Nation, the Shuhonese are noted as generally being more spiritually attuned than the rest of the Fire Nation, marked by the nearby presence of the Fire Sage Temple on Crescent Island, which was traditionally intertwined with the other islands in the region.
