The Northern Water Tribe is the northern state of the Water Tribe located on the northern continent. The Northern Water Tribe is led by Tahu Hu, while the Southern Water Tribe is led by Naga Tona. The two Water Chiefs govern the Water Tribe through the unified council, Council of Akhlut.
Its capital city, Agna Qel'a, is notable for being made almost entirely out of ice. Even though much of its territory encompasses largely inhospitable tundra terrain, the Northern Water Tribe always thrived, and grew into a major political and economical power.
