About The Roleplay Council (RPC)

The Roleplay Council (RPC) is a group of notable players who manage how roleplay works on the server. Their job is to keep roleplay accurate to the Avatar world and fair to everyone playing. They focus on two main things:

  • Whether roleplay follows the rules and logic of the Avatar world
  • Whether roleplay is fair and enjoyable for the players involved

The Council deals with situations where roleplay might not follow the rules or the lore. This can include breaking character logic or giving one side an unfair advantage. The council reviews these matter and decides what should happen. They are the principal authority on roleplay on the server.

The main goal of the RPC is to keep the roleplay enjoyable, while making sure it still fits within the world of Avatar.

Identifying & Contacting a Council Member

Figure A

RPC members can be identified in game by their "RPC" tag (as shown in Figure A). If you ever need assistance and a member is available in-game, you can contact them by using the command /msg [User] [Message] . To find the username of their character, use /realname [Character Name] . You can also reach the Council through the #🎫・support channel in the Discord server.

Council Structure

The RPC has 9 members. Each member is expected to understand the server, its rules, and how roleplay functions. When an issue comes up, the council discusses it together by sharing their views then coming to a decision, usually through a vote.

Roleplay Council Head

  • Incumbent: Max'li Raa

Chosen by the Server Owner, the Roleplay Council Head is the primary figure that leads the Council and the sets the direction of roleplay on the server. They stay in the role until they step down or are replaced.

The Head is responsible to run the Council's discussion and ensure decisions are made fairly, and within the best interests of the server. They are also the main point of authority when it comes to roleplay. If there is confusion about rules, how something should be handled, or even misunderstandings across the Council, the Head gives the final direction.

Joining the Council

The RPC has a limit of 9 members, including the Head of the Council. Once a member leaves, a replacement is selected to maintain this number. When a position becomes available, applications are opened to the community through our server's Discord. Players who apply are expected to show good understanding of roleplay, fairness, and the Avatar world.

New members are chosen based on their ability to (a) judge situations properly, (b) contribute to discussions, and (c) help maintain the overall standard of roleplay on the server.
