A second treaty in 144 AG, between Fire Lord Inaba and N’Jadaka, reversed this arrangement by placing the Fire Nation under Sun Warrior protection during Inaba’s hiatus or until his heir, Prince Karim, came of age. This second agreement was later annulled by Sun Chief N'Lalu (Karim) upon his accession.
