The Sand Tribes is the term for the four tribes that reside within the Si Wong desert; the Itgel Tribe, Barikh Tribe, Surakh Tribe, and the Tomor Tribe, all which were united to be the Sand Tribes by Ondorkhaar Ruuk Varkhan. Although they remain under the sovereignty of the Earth Kingdom, each tribe maintains its own leadership with a degree of autonomy, all led by their respective tribal leaders called the Khaars.
Events
On 22 Xūyuè 173 AG, Earth Queen Songwen Beifong announced the reunification of the Sand Tribes with the Earth Kingdom. Later that year, Earth Monarch Huang Ling issued the Decree of Hallowed Land which restricted access to the sacred land of Khyl within the province of Itgel Tribe.
