Cecelia Yuka

Cecelia Yuka (Yóukǎ Sāixīlìyà, 由卡·塞西莉亚) was Fire Lord of the Fire Nation from 132–138 AG. She was the daughter of Ichida and Amiko, and the wife of Princess Zia Yuka-Fang of the Northern Water Tribe. She was the mother of Prime Minister Izuna, Fire Lord Laia, Prince Kenji, Princess Aka, and Princess Imai.

In 124 AG, Cecelia and Princess Zia of the Water Tribe were wed at a Northern Water Tribe gala, strengthening ties between the two nations. In 125 AG, Fire Queen Amiko transferred most governing responsibilities to Cecelia, who began handling day-to-day rule of the Fire Nation.

By 131 AG, Fire Lord Ichida formally announced Cecelia as the primary governing authority of the Fire Nation as Amiko withdrew from public duties. During this period, tensions rose when Northern Water Chief Kutuq Fang demanded Ichida’s removal and threatened invasion if Cecelia was not fully placed in power.

In 132 AG, Cecelia declared that her father Ichida had been murdered, attributing responsibility to Northern Water Tribe assassins, and was subsequently crowned Fire Lord. She ruled until 138 AG, when Earth King Siniestro stepped down, leaving Earth Queen Destra as sole monarch.

Shortly before her illness worsened, Cecelia appointed her godmother, former Northern Water Chief Nerites Yuka-Fang, as regent of the Fire Nation. After Cecelia fell into a coma, Nerites continued as regent for Cecelia’s eldest daughter, Laia Yuka.
